Take a walk through the wild imaginations behind Wild North Comics, the Territory’s own comic book creators, at WILD THINGS!

Visit the worlds of indigenous superheroes, gun slinging bushrangers, psychedelic journey folk, and sentient robots of a strange and distant future. Wild North Comics is a trove of sci-fi, fantasy, surrealistic and experimental comic book art from around the Northern Territory and Australia. Since launching in 2021, the publication has been spreading its tendrils across the country, exploring imaginative worlds, action packed stories, indigenous perspectives and mind-bending sci-fi all through the medium of comics.

Wild North Comics now lands it’s ever-growing anthology on top of Godinymayin for a one off exhibition. WILD THINGS! takes us inside the creative processes of the artists, animators, illustrators and filmmakers behind the comics, featuring Jonathon Saunders, Dan Hartney, Mat Selwyn, Dani Heilbronn, Timothy Parish, Levin A. Diathschenko and more. The exhibition includes sketches, scripts, ideas and inspiration for the comics alongside large scale limited edition prints, telling the stories behind the artwork.
